FAQ's
ASK STEVE THE DOG...
q. Can I send more than one photo of the same person?
a. Yes! The more photos, the better
the likeness. Subjects should be facing the camera as much as
possible and school pictures are great! Arf!
q. How many people can you put in one caricature?
a. There is no limit, but for groups
larger than five people, e-mail me or call for specific
instructions. Remember, the price of $29.95 is
per-person! Woof!
q. If I have a group drawn, do I have to have a group
photo?
a. Absolutely not! Individual photos
are better to work from. I'll still get them all into the
caricature. Yip!
q. What kind of activities can you draw people doing?
a. ANYTHING! Bark!
q. If I want to have my child drawn in a sport, do I need
to send my child's picture in his uniform?
a. No, but if you want to send a photo
in uniform along WITH a clear, face front photo, It'll be more
accurate. Scratch!
q. How long does it take to get the artwork back?
a. Usually two weeks or less. If there
is a need for faster work, let me know. Additional charges may
apply. Arf!
q. Is it legal for me to make copies or use the caricature
commercially?
a. NO! Without a copyright release it
is illegal to reproduce my work. A copyright release may be obtained
via the order form or by e-mail or phone. Woof, Woof!
q. Should I laminate the caricature?
a. There is no need. Just frame it.
The only thing that will damage the drawing (besides water, of
course) is direct sunlight. If you want to hang your caricature
outdoors, you should obtain a copyright release, make a copy,
laminate it and
hang the copy outdoors. Bark!
q. Who the heck is Steve the Dog?
a. Here is Steve. Meow.
